By: Masibonge Somatyala Tshwane North College (TNC) hosted a Gender based violence awareness event as an initiative to call upon all institutions in South Africa to treat women and children with respect. This initiative also included awareness about how the LGBQT+ because it is also one of the genders we have in the country. This event was held in TNC, Soshanguve South campus on the 15 th September 2023 The purpose was to draw the attention of the public including the institutions and the government to challenges that are faced by women, children and the LGBQT+ groups in the country so that there can be proper solution regarding those challenges. They face challenges of being abused physically, emotionally, spiritually and verbally as well because of being believed to be vulnerable in nature. TCE 1 FC outstanding performance surprised everyone in the stadium

Everyone was surprised because TCE 1 FC lost three points without participating in the game during the previous week. The fans and other teams thought the club was going to be discouraged because of that incident but it is clear the results were the opposite of what they thought because TCE 1 FC came back stronger than before. I hope next time they will make it. People attended in masses to witness different talents that the community has. Local artists and dancers attended the show with the intention to showcase their talents. People and students from neighboring schools and communities attended to witness and grace the talents of their friends and schoolmates. “I was very happy to see that there is a variety of talents in our Community, even if it is known as the hot-spot of crimes and drugs but at least there is something good people can say about it.
