JDR STARS & MARUMO GALLANTS FC DRAW IN THE FRIENDLY MATCH

The fans of JDR Stars FC and the management were consumed by pride and joy after their surprising results of 0-0 against Marumo Gallants FC which is one of teams that played in PSL.

Lebogang Maake who was the spectator of the game explained that she was surprised by the results because she expected the worst for JDR Stars FC but the results were the opposite of what she expected.

“From now on, I`m not talking as the fan, I`m talking as the person who likes football. JDR Stars proved that football is not only about the quality and status of   the   team but it is also about the positive   attitude and dedication. I was so   impressed by the performance of JDR   Stars,” she added.

Some of JDR Stars players could not believe it. Even though the score was 0-0 they were proud of themselves.



Musa Mkhize who is the JDR Stars player said, “I could not believe it and I still can`t believe that they did not beat us because they are a big team with more talented and experienced players. I thought they were going to beat us with most embarrassing score. I am happy that the results were the opposite of what I thought.”

 “I am so proud of my team and I believe in them, Marumo Gallants FC is one of the biggest teams in our league as you all know that it was once in PSL and my JDR Stars FC never went there but they managed to draw with them,” commented Mr Nditsheni Nemasisi who is the current coach of JDR Stars FC.


The fans of Marumo Gallants FC were shocked and they couldn`t believe when the referee blew the whistle indicating the end of their match.

“I kept on hoping that my team will score a goal but I hoped until the end of the match. I know this was the friendly match but I am so disappointed and I will take this as a lesson to never take football for granted,” Sfiso Ngwane who is the fan of Marumo Gallants FC explained.

 Marumo Gallants FC coach Sebastein highlighted that he learnt a lot from the match and he believes that they will do better on the following match because he realised that his players made lot of slight mistakes and they will learn from those mistakes and improve.
