TCE 1 FC outstanding performance surprised everyone in the stadium

TCE 1 Football club (FC) surprised everyone after claiming the victory of 4:1 against Sosh 4 FC during the final of the Tshwane University of Technology residence league that was held in South Campus stadium. Everyone was surprised because TCE 1 FC lost three points without participating in the game during the previous week. The fans and other teams thought the club was going to be discouraged because of that incident but it is clear the results were the opposite of what they thought because TCE 1 FC came back stronger than before.

The TCE 1 coach, Ayanda Zulu said, “I was not surprised by the victory of my team, even last week if they were fair to us we would have won but unfortunately they were not but we are not there. Even last week I told you that we will prove that we are the best on the following week and we did that as you can see. Other people may be surprised but as the club we are not because we promised to come back stronger”.

Players of TCE 1 FC were very happy about the results and they were proud as well. On the first half Sosh 2 FC seemed to be dominating against TCE 1 FC as they tried harder to put the ball behind the net but it was unfortunate for them because they did not succeed in that quest until the second half where their striker hit the crossbar by the ball while trying to score. That incident seemed like they provoked the snake in the hole because after they tried that TCE 1 strikers pulled up their socks and put the ball behind the net four times which made the score to be 4:0.

“The only mistake they made is to attack us the way they did, because the harder they shot our goal keeper was the more they give us power to score more goals. If they were lenient with us we would not have scored many goals in the second half maybe we would have scored one or two goals and play the ball. When they shot at us we felt provoked that is why we did what we did”, said Thobani Mntambo who is the well-known TCE 1 FC  striker.

After the referee indicated that the additional time was five minutes Sipho Nxumalo who is the Sosh 2 FC striker managed to put the ball and score one goals against TCE 1 FC and that led to the final results of the match to be 4:1. “I cannot believe we lost this game with these final results and I will take it as a lesson. We will encourage each other as a team to work on our mistakes so that we can be able to do better”, Sipho explained. The coach of Sosh 2 FC was so surprised and he could not even say a single word to anyone after especially the media after the referee blew the final whistle.
